Britney notches another No. 1
By , QMI Agency

Britney Spears debuts at No. 1 with "Femme Fatale."

Britney Spears did it again.

Her seventh studio effort, "Femme Fatale," led by her latest single, "Till the World Ends," shot to No. 1 on the Canadian album charts, selling 22,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan numbers.

However, the album didn't match the sales figures of her previous disc, "Circus," which rung up 51,000 back in December 2008.

Britney also snagged the top spot stateside, selling 276,000 copies of "Till the World Ends," according to Billboard.com.

Back here, Adele's "21" was stuck at No. 2 for a third straight week, Ginette Reno's "La Musique en Moi" slipped two spots to No. 3, and the charity album "Songs For Japan" dropped one to No. 4.

Radiohead had the second best premiere with "King of Limbs" at No. 5, rapper Wiz Khalifa's "Rolling Papers" rolled in at No. 6, and Ima's "Precious" spent its first week at No. 7.

Robbie Robertson's "How to Become Clairvoyant" entered at No. 8, Sum 41's "Screaming Bloody Murder" had a less than stellar debut at No. 9, and Rise Against's "Endgame" sank five spots to No. 10.

In the U.S., Wiz Khalifa placed second, followed by Adele in third, Chris Brown's "F.A.M.E." in fourth, and "Songs For Japan" in fifth.
