Stone Temple Pilots will follow in the footsteps of Korn and Limp Bizkit, headlining this fall's Family Values tour, according to the group's official website.
Staind and System Of A Down are in talks to join STP on the tour, which is to run through October and November, StoneTemplePilots.com reports.
"(Our management) asked everyone in the band if we were into it, and we said yea," the site quoted singer Scott Weiland saying.
"That's what we're going for right now."
The group recently completed work on their fifth album, "Shangri-La Dee Da," which is due in stores June 19, a change from its original planned release date of June 26.
The album was recorded in a Malibu house with longtime producer Brendan O'Brien. Tracks include "Days of the Week", "Hollywood Bitch", "About a Fool" and "Bipolar Bear."
The band also allowed documentary cameras to capture the recording process, with an eye to releasing a making-of documentary at some point. (More on Stone Temple Pilots)
