Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland has begun work on his second solo album, Rollingstone.com reports.
The album, the follow-up to "12 Bar Blues," is being produced by Josh Abraham, whose credits include Crazytown and Deadsy.
Four tracks have been finished for the album, which Abraham described to Rollingstone.com as being more "artsy" than Weiland's efforts with Stone Temple Pilots, but not as experimental as Weiland's solo debut.
Some of the track titles include "Drop That Baby," If Only I Could Fly," and "Big Black Monster."
Weiland and Abraham plan on returning to the studio in February, once Abraham finishes up his production work on Staind's new album.
