Suede member forced to quit
By JAM! Music
Suede keyboardist Neil Codling has quite the band on the eve of sessions for their new record, Britain's New Musical Express reports.

Codling has fought a long battle with chronic fatigue syndrome. His replacement, former Strangelove member Alex Lee, previously replaced Codling when he dropped out of a Suede tour of Europe for the same reason.

Codling last performed with band in October in Iceland, and was in good health. Since then, however, he has suffered a relapse, and he has decided to make a clean break with the group.

"Neil is suffering from exhaustion and he has been feeling worse recently," a band representative told NME. "He is going to rest until he feels better".

Meanwhile, Lee has already co-written several songs with the band and played on demos with the group. Two of those Lee co-writes were premiered at the shows in Iceland, NME said.
