Avril Lavigne and Sum 41, the latter fronted by Lavigne's rocker hubby Deryck Whibley, will host the pop-punk band's official afterparty on Thursday night at Tattoo Rock Parlour (567 Queen Street W.) after Sum 41's earlier gig that night at Kool Haus. Tix, $10, are available at the door before midnight.

- They're back, but don't expect the same old skits.
Toronto comedy troupe The Kids In The Hall have announced a Live As We'll Ever Be Canadian tour featuring all five original members (Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson).
The group will visit Massey Hall June 5. Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. An American Express Front of the Line Internet pre-sale for members begins today and runs through Friday.
According to the news release, the show will also be "comprised of completely fresh material which simultaneously reflects who they are now and their patently off-kilter take on ordinary life."
- British singer and former Wham! frontman George Michael has announced a summer North American tour (his first North American tour in 17 years) in support of his Twenty-Five hits compilation.
According to his official website (georgemichael.com) the Live 25 tour will hit the Air Canada Centre July 17. A fan club Internet pre-sale begins March 31 with a public on-sale slated for April 6 for all dates.
- Lifehouse rescheduled its show last night at the Music Hall to April 29 "due to illness." Tickets for the original date will be honoured on April 29. Otherwise, refunds will be made available at point of purchase.
