Swift's sales dip, still No. 1

It was a bittersweet victory of sorts for Taylor Swift on the Canadian album charts.

The country-pop star captured the top spot again, despite seeing the sales of her third effort "Speak Now" drop by almost 60%.

Swift moved 26,000 units, a sharp drop from the 62,000 she sold last week.

But the glamorous songstress shouldn’t frown – “Speak Now” is still the second biggest debut of 2010, according to Neilsen SoundScan data.

She also retained the top spot south of the 49th parallel again, selling 320,000 copies in the U.S., according to Billboard.com.

Back here, the top debut went to the "MuchDance 2010" (14,000) collection at No. 2, Kings of Leon's "Come Around Sundown" (7,000) remained at No. 3, and Sylvain Cossette's "70s Volume 3" sank two notches to No. 4.

Johnny Reid's "Place Called Love" rebounded three rungs to No. 5, Eminem dipped one to No. 6, and Michael Buble's "Crazy Love" moved down three to No. 7.

Closing out the top 10 was Roch Voisine's "Americana" at No. 8, Rod Stewart's "Fly Me To the Moon" at No. 9, and Florence K's "Havana Angels" at No. 10.

In the U.S., Jason Aldean's "My Kinda Party" placed second, followed by Sugarland's "The Incredible Machine" in third, Mariah Carey's "Merry Christmas II You" in fourth, and Lil Wayne's "I Am Not a Human Being" in fifth.
