t.A.T.u.? Weren't they the teenaged Russian lesbians who gained fame for ... uh ... being teenaged Russian lesbians? They were.
Still are, judging by lyrics like "It's all about us/ And that's the thing that they can't touch."
But uh oh, what's this: "I complicated our lives/ By falling in love with him"? (Small 'h', so we're not talking religious conversion.)
Or this: "Why should I welcome your domination/ Why should I listen to explanations"?
And what the hell are they singing on Obezyanka Nol? Only executive producer Boris Renski knows for sure. And he'd probably tell us if we asked. But with Boris not being a teenaged Russian lesbian, it's unlikely anyone will ask.

Just as it's unlikely many of those who purchase this album of not-terrible synth-pop will study anything beyond the seven glossy pics that adorn the CD's booklet. Those photos, after all, tell t.A.T.u. fans all they need to know.
