Album Review: TOPLOADER

ONKA'S BIG MOKA
By MIKE ROSS

ONKA'S BIG MOKA
Toploader
(Sony)

Onka's what, by who? Like many British bands no one outside the Empire has ever heard of, Toploader arrives with a boatload of glowing press - Brit award nominations, star endorsements, a million sold, etc.

This is worth the hype - a grand, sprawling pop album in the '70s tradition. Think Jamiroquai meets the Black Crowes on Elton John's piano.

Track Listing 1. Let The People Know (Album Version)
2. Dancing In The Moonlight
3. Achilles Heel
4. Breathe
5. Future
6. Only For A While
7. Just Hold On
8. Higher State
9. High Flying Bird
10. Summer Cycle
11. Just About Living
12. Floating Away (In A Bath Tub)
