"We're hoping we can get into some film work," Jeff Parker muses, when asked of his band Tortoise's future plans. "It surprises people to learn that we've never really done that."
Perhaps that's because Parker and his Chicago-based bandmates have for several years been providing a glorious, atmosphere soundtrack to the lives of those in search of music a tad more challenging than the Top 40.
