There was some major jammin’ on stage during U2’s final Toronto concert on Saturday night at the Air Canada Centre.
Pearl Jam lead singer Eddie Vedder joined the Dublin rockers just as they were ending the set with their hit, One, with Canadian producer Daniel Lanois also on stage — making his third appearance during the band’s four-night Toronto run.
As One segued into the Jerome Kern classic Ol’ Man River, Vedder took the stage to sing a few verses of the song with U2 frontman Bono.
Pearl Jam play a sold-out show tonight at the ACC.
U2 spent the entire week in Toronto, arriving on Sept. 9 to rehearse at the ACC before launching the second leg of their North American tour on Sept. 12 here.
Their next stop is Chicago for two dates on Sept. 21-22.
