The summer is down one reunion tour -- at least for the time being.
USA Today is reporting that the Van Halen reunion tour, featuring original lead singer David Lee Roth back in the fold, has been postponed indefinitely.
No reason was given for the postponement but perhaps all will be revealed when Van Halen are inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame on March 12 in New York City.
Back on Feb. 2, Van Halen's own website reported the group -- featuring guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen and Eddie's son Wolfgang on bass -- would reunite with Roth for the first time since 1984 for a 40-show tour this summer.
Still, no official announcement was ever made in terms of actual cities, dates and venues or on-sale information.
Van Halen was to be one of several high-profile reunion tours this year, which sees The Police, Crowded House, Genesis, Heaven And Hell (Black Sabbath fronted by Ronnie James Dio), Rage Against The Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, and The Stooges all getting back together and hitting the road.
