Here they come -- full blast and top down. Ending months of speculation, reunited rockers Van Halen finally confirmed they're about to release a new album with original singer David Lee Roth. Even better: They're heading out on a tour that includes several Canadian stops.

The California quartet, rounded out by guitarist Eddie Van Halen, his brother Alex on drums and son Wolfgang in place of ousted original bassist Michael Anthony, will hit seven Canadian cities this spring, starting with three March shows in Eastern Canada and four more in the West in May. See below for a full list of dates and venues. Tickets for shows in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa will go on sale Jan. 14, according to promoters, with presales beginning Jan. 10. Tickets for the Toronto show at Air Canada Centre will set you back between $87 and $167 on Ticketmaster.

Tickets for the Ottawa show at Scotiabank Place will cost $49.50, $79.50 and $149.50 (before service charges and fees) and will be available at Scotiabank Place Box Office, Sens Store at Place d'Orléans and Carlingwood, all Ottawa Sports Experts locations, Les Galeries de Hull, over the phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267) and online at www.livenation.com and www.capitaltickets.ca.

Tickets for the Montreal gig at Bell Centre will go for $68.50, $101.50, $131 and $155.50 including taxes and service fees at www.evenko.ca.

Prices and onsale dates for the Western shows are still TBA.

Kool and the Gang will open the eastern dates. It will be the band's first tour with Roth since a well-received reunion trek in 2007 and '08. But this time they'll be armed with new material. A Different Kind of Truth, the group's first disc with Diamond Dave since 1984 -- the album and the year -- will be released Feb. 7 on Interscope. Tattoo, the first single and video, will be released Jan. 10.

The announcements were made Thursday night during the band's first show in four years at a packed New York City club. Their hour-long set reportedly included classics like Running With the Devil and Panama, along with She's the Woman, an unreleased mid-'70s number resurrected for their new CD.

Stay tuned for more details as they develop.
