Geography has its ups and downs for Anders Parker, leader of the North Carolina-based band Varnaline.
Parker's latest album, the exemplary "Songs In A Northern Key," was written in an isolated part of northern Vermont and was recorded there, and in Upstate New York and Brooklyn, prior to being mixed in Nashville.
