Waters' 'Wall' tour dates announced
By Jane Stevenson, QMI Agency

Roger Waters’ The Wall 30th anniversary two-month tour of North America will kick off Sept. 15 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

The only other Canadian dates are Oct. 17 at Ottawa’s Scotiabank Place, Oct. 19 at Montreal’s Bell Centre and Dec. 10 at Vancouver's General Motors Place.

Tickets are going on sale May 10 at livenation.com, with on-sale information for local markets to come at a later date.

The Wall has been previously performed live in its entirety by Waters just 31 times including Pink Floyd’s 1980-81 tour in support of the album. Originally released in November 1979, The Wall was made into a metaphorical musical film, directed by Alan Parker with screenplay by Waters, in 1982.
