Tim Freedman wears his heart on his sleeve. Or so it seems judging from the songs on The Whitlams' debut Canadian release, Eternal Nightcap.
"It's sort of my diary of people and things," says Freedman, the 35-year-old singer and songwriter for the Australian band, which opens for Blue Rodeo tonight and tomorrow at the Jubilee Auditorium.
