That low-voiced stranger Don Williams is moseying through town, playing two shows at the Winspear Sunday.
"It's really pretty incredible, Fish. I thought I was about done for," he admits, but was picked up by the Giant label recently and given super-producer Doug Johnston to work with. Hearing that he'd been outed as cool (like Johnny Cash) by the y'alternative crowd, Williams lets out a hilarious, "All right, man. Whatever," then laughs for about half a minute.
