CALGARY -- U.K. pop star Robbie Williams and actress Daryl Hannah were in Alberta this past weekend for a video shoot, Sun sources confirm.
The singer, who initially gained recognition as a member of the boy band Take That before embarking on a successful solo career, was filming the video for the first single from his forthcoming album.
Hannah, star of such films as Splash and Steel Magnolias, was cast in the video -- described by sources as having a comedic wild west theme -- as Williams' love interest.
Sources say the shoot lasted three days and took place in the Sundre area.
According to Williams' official website, the disc is titled Escapology, and will be released in the U.K. on Nov. 18, while the single, Feel -- a song also reportedly featuring R&B artist Ms. Dynamite -- is due to follow suit on Dec. 9.
Although there was talk of releasing the album in Canada before the end of the year, record company sources confirm that no official date has been set.
