Toronto singers Hawksley Workman and Sarah Harmer had a rare audience Monday night with Prince Charles at the Toronto gala in honour of the Canadian arts.
Never at a loss for words, Workman reportedly got a fair bit of face-time with the future king. During a Mike Bullard appearance the next night, the 25-year-old said he brushed up on his table manners by following Charles' lead.
When Bullard asked if he expected to see Charles again, Workman responded without blinking: "Christmas."
Workman played a sold-out show at the Phoenix last night and just released a book of fictional love letters called Hawksley Burns For Isadora, with artwork by his mother, Beverley Hawksley.
