Neil Young's early days on CD
By -- Sun Media

In his continuing trek through his vaults, Neil Young will release one of his earliest live solo recordings Nov. 25 entitled Sugar Mountain Live at Canterbury House 1968.

The 23-track album was recorded over the course of two nights (Nov. 9-10, 1968) at the Ann Arbor, Michigan venue from a 2-track tape recorder and kept in storage for over four decades. The material includes early recordings of songs Young would later release on solo albums. The title track, I've Been Waiting For You, The Old Laughing Lady, Mr. Soul, The Loner and Out of My Mind are some of the numbers featured.

Young embarks on his North American tour this week with his first Canadian stop planned for Winnipeg's MTS Centre on Thursday.
