Country singer Jimmy Bell (real name: Jimmy Sweeney) had a hit single on REO Records in May 1961 called "She Wears My Ring". He also released several records through Buckley Records under his real name in the late 1950's.
Bell worked in Western Canada for C.P. Rail, and after his one charting hit in Canada, moved to Nashville and began writing and recording for Columbia. He also had tunes recorded by Marty Robbins.
Bell left the entertainment business for a state government job. Bell died in the early 1990's.
