Bolero Lava was a street-smart 5-piece Bananarama/Bangles/Belle Stars styled all woman band from Vancouver. They began their career by winning Vancouver's Battle of the Bands, which led them to record the college-radio, hit-single "Inevitable." Between 1983 and 1988 the band recorded two records and toured across Canada, as well as headlining at major venues around Vancouver. Show highlights included double-billing with The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cramps, and Taj Mahal.
"Move A Groove" was produced by 54.40 engineer Dave Ogilvie.
with notes from Heidi Mo Hawkins and Barbara Bernath.
