From the ashes of J.B. & The Playboys, the band became The Jaybees in 1966 and the Peter & The Pipers before settling in as Carnival Connection in August 1967. Their new identity would be short lived, however, following the low-charting single on Capitol called "Poster Man" (hitting #67 in December 1968). The band split up in early 1969.
Nicholls would join Mashmakhan briefly before heading off to New York and then Los Angeles for a successful career on stage and in film/TV; Hill went on to form Freedom North; Lauzon joined the band Life and has had a modest solo career through the years.
