Expedition To Earth formed in 1966 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The band was signed and recorded for the Franklin label out of Winnipeg in 1967.
Their self-named single, "Expedition To Earth", was released in 1968. They toured extensively in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta allowing their single to reach No. 3 in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.
A copy of "Expedition To Earth" currently rests in The Museum Of Man And Nature's 'Rock And Roll Exhibit' in Winnipeg, Manitoba. On January 1, 2010 a 7" single copy of "The Expedition To Earth" sold on Ebay for $360.55.
