Hamilton dance singer/songwriter Eria Fachin enjoyed a promising career starting with a seven week run on Canadian charts in June 1988 with "Savin' Myself" from her album 'My Name Is Eria Fachin'.
She also dabbled in film, playing a French maid in the movie 'Heart Sounds' with James Garner and Mary Tyler Moore. Most notibly she sang the title track for the Keifer Sutherland movie 'Woman Wanted' and it was her last recording before passing away from cancer in 1996. She was working on her second album at he time of her diagnosis.
