Greyhound Tragedy received initial attention from CJSW radio at the University of Calgary who played the band's four-track cassette demo in 1987.

Since then the band has had 18 tours and 5 albums. The band has played shows with Frank Black and the Catholics, Strung Out, Big Sugar, the Bare Naked Ladies and Carmaig Deforest. Ex-members have included John Arnott from the Lowest of the Low and Jon Card from SNFU/DOA
