Winston Saunders

The band included country singer Ray McLean, who hosted a country TV show for a few years and Winston Saunders who went on to join The Fables.

In 1971 the band recorded 5 albums in 3 days during a marathon session of recordings in Toronto. Also featured on these sessions was Mickey Andrews (Stompin' Tom Connor's steel player) and Sebastian Agnello (Lords of London).

Their biggest hit, "Ruthie, The Newfie", was written by Agnello during a lunch break in 10 minutes. Agnello had only asked for $100 to write the song! It went on to sell 40,000 copies.
