Born: Richard Francis, February 4, 1939, Cornerbrook, Newfoundland.
In his early teens sang on local radio, in 1954 gave his first CBC Radio broadcast. Moved to Toronto in 1958. Played various nightclubs, recorded 11 albums for ARC Sound - some as duets with Marlene Beaudry and some with his daughter Bonnie Lou Nolan. Returned to Cornerbrook in 1972. Appeared on TV and played at the Bella Vista Nightclub
Prior to 1972 albums were released on RCA/Pickwick including the gold selling Aunt Martha's Sheep.
