Montreal's Riverson consisted Blake and Edwards who were both formerly of Mashmakhan. The band released several singles in 1973 including a remake of The Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby" and the moderately successful "Clear Night". The tracks, and subsequent self-titled album were co-produced by the band with Lee DeCarlo at Manta Sound in Toronto.
Blake went on to join the Lisa Hartt Band.
