Seemingly putting an end to rumours of a 'celebrity' or 'all-star' season, CBS has announced they are accepting applications for the
sixth season of 'Big Brother'.
The 'Big Brother 6' application can be accessed on the official CBS website. Those who are interested must submit a two-minute videotape demonstrating why they would make the ultimate houseguest, two colour photographs and the completed forms which can be downloaded from the CBS site. The deadline for applications is April 8. Only American residents can apply.
Returning to produce the series are the team of Arnold Shapiro and Allison Grodner.
'Big Brother 6' has some big surprises that will soon be revealed,” said Shapiro. “Our goal this summer is to assemble the most colourful, competitive, and charismatic houseguests we've ever had.”
On the 'Big Brother' series, a group of strangers live together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As the outside world watches on television and the Internet, the HouseGuests vote each other out, one by one, until only one remains and goes home a half million dollars richer.
Drew Daniels, the 22-year-old, Miami University graduate from Ohio was crowned the "Big Brother 5" champ last year.
