Without missing a beat, those words come flying out of Randal Pinkett's mouth faster than Kelly Perdew's 15 minutes of fame lasted, when he's asked to weigh in on the recent feud between Donald Trump and Martha Stewart.
Then, after some thought, The Apprentice winner offers a stunning revelation.
"It certainly can't hurt in terms of putting Mr. Trump and The Apprentice back into the public consciousness."
What? Could it really be that Trump is faking his war with the daytime diva to gain some publicity for The Apprentice 5, which premieres tonight?
While it's difficult to prove, it does appear Trump is pulling out all the stops this year.
He's cast the most highly educated candidates in the show's history, invited his adult children, Ivanka and Donald Jr., to appear on several episodes and added an international flavour with job applicants from Canada, England and Russia.
He's also stacked the numbers to allow for many mass firings again this season.
"Certainly it makes for great TV," says Pinkett.
"It adds an unexpected twist and it keeps all the contestants on their toes because, as we saw last season, you could be walking out the door and he'll bring you back in and fire you."
It is that complete disregard for people's feelings that makes Trump's The Apprentice work and why Stewart's flopped, Pinkett, who began working for the Trump Organization today, suggests.
"Mr. Trump does a great job of playing the role of the lead -- that's what America has always been drawn to. That's why, I think, America continues to see the Donald Trump's Apprentice as the flagship and why it will always be the only Apprentice show."
The Apprentice airs tonight at 10 p.m ET on Global and NBC.
