A South Park ad featuring one of the show's characters awaiting a giant red probe that's about to be shoved up his backside could be pulled from the TTC after several complaints from offended passengers.
TTC chairman Adam Giambrone said yesterday the transit commission had received six complaints in the past several days over the Comedy Network ad.
The TTC's advertising review committee automatically votes on whether or not to pull an ad if it receives five complaints, Giambrone said.
"The commissioners will be asked to e-mail in a vote: Should it be allowed on the system, yes or no?" Giambrone said. "If it's not, it will be pulled."
A call last night to CBS Outdoor, the ad's distributor, wasn't immediately returned.
