Former ‘Full House’ star Jodie Sweetin is ending her marriage, reports People.com.

Sweetin, 26, filed papers earlier this week in Orange County, Calif., for legal separation from Cody Herpin, her husband of 16 months.

Herpin tells People.com that he was "dumbfounded" by the news, adding the actress took their 7-month-old daughter with her when she left.

Sweetin once called Herpin, 31, a ‘blessing’ and had said he helped her overcome an addiction to methamphetamines.

Sweetin's agent says the actress is "absolutely clean" and that the star thinks the split is "unfortunate but it's just what has to happen right now."

The pair wed in July 2007.
