Miley's eye photo angers Asian comic
By Zap2It.com
Miley Cyrus is an inspiration to many, including Margaret Cho, but not in a good way. The controversial comedian wrote a song for Cyrus after becoming incensed over the Hannah Montana star's slant eye photo. Cho, a Korean-American, posted the lyrics to the song "Oh Miley" on her blog Wednesday, Feb. 11, and reprimanded the 16-year-old for making "chinky eyes" and "standing behind an Asian guy." Cho concludes the song with the verse: All you have to do is pull at your face To make your eyelids resemble our race This kind of joke has no proper place Miley Cyrus is a disgrace! In related news, a woman in Los Angeles is suing Cyrus for $4 billion on behalf of 1 million Asian Pacific Islanders in LA County. Lucie J. Kim claims that Cyrus posed for the photo, knowing full well that "her image would be publicly disseminated via the media, which Cyrus knew focused on her private life, specifically TMZ." |
