It used to bother Edie Falco when she didn't have enough to do on The Sopranos.
Well, that certainly hasn't been a problem with Falco's new series Nurse Jackie, which wraps up its first season tonight on The Movie Network and Movie Central.
"The truth is, that's what I asked for when I was looking to start working again in television," Falco said. "I'm a bit of a workaholic. I certainly am now. I don't know that I'll always be. So while I'm excited about it and have the energy, I said, 'Give me a lot to do.'
"It was hard for me sometimes on The Sopranos when I was there every third day or so (to play Carmela). They'd be saying, 'Oh, yesterday was so funny, this guy did this thing, he fell backwards,' or whatever. And all I ever could think was, 'I missed it! I wasn't there!' It made me so angry!"
Speaking of anger, there's sure to be some tonight between Jackie (Falco) and her lover Eddie (Paul Schulze). At the end of last week's episode, Eddie found out that Jackie actually has a husband and two kids.
