"Two and a Half Men" star Jon Cryer and his wife Lisa Joyner have adopted a baby daughter.

Just a week after Cryer cryptically mentioned his "baby girl" during his Best Supporting Actor acceptance speech at the Emmy Awards, the 44 year old's publicist has confirmed he's a dad again.

Baby Daisy, born on August 11, is Cryer's first child with 42-year-old Joyner, who he married in 2007.

The actor has a nine-year-old son, Charlie, from his first marriage to Sarah Trigger.

Cryer is the second TV star in as many weeks to adopt - Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley took custody of 10-month-old Korean girl Nancy Leigh earlier this month.
