Bookmark and Share

Reality TV star Stephanie Pratt has apologized for her recent drink-driving arrest - urging her fans to learn from her "mistake."

Pratt, who appears on U.S. show The Hills, was pulled over by police in Hollywood last weekend and after failing a breathalyzer tests, the blonde star was placed behind bars and subsequently released on $5,000 bail.

The star was reportedly just over the 0.8 legal alcohol limit for driving in California, and has now taken to the internet to make amends for the incident, insisting she will take "full responsibility" for her actions.

On her Twitter.com page, she writes, "I was pulled over for tinted windows 3 blocks from where I was sleeping and blew a.08... which was 2 drinks. I made the wrong choice to drive and I take full responsibility.

"I would never put other people's lives at risk and want to be very clear that I was not pulled over for unsafe driving. 2 drinks... call a taxi! pls (sic) learn from my mistake."
