David Hasselhoff has spoken out to silence speculation about his recent stay in hospital - insisting he's "happy and healthy."
The Baywatch star was taken to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday and spent two days receiving treatment.
The actor was hit by rumours he had suffered a seizure, while other media outlets reported the 57 year old was detained on an involuntary psychiatric hold.
But Hasselhoff, who was back home from hospital on Sunday (29Nov09), is adamant the rumours about his health are completely unfounded.
He tells TMZ.com, "I'm with my family, I'm happy, I'm healthy and contrary to reports I did not have a seizure. I did not be (sic) admitted to a psychiatric ward. My private life is exactly that, private. I'm happy, I'm healthy thank you very much."
