Canadian actor Howie Mandel called police to his California home early on Thursday after hearing suspicious noises in his bathroom.

The America's Got Talent judge hosted an Independence Day party at his Calabasas property, but he was left worried when he heard moaning sounds and feared a sexual assault was taking place.

Mandel rang cops, who arrived at his home and quizzed a male and a female partygoer, according to TMZ.com.

The U.S. website reports the guests confessed to getting carried away in the bathroom.
