American TV presenter Carson Daly has become a father for the second time.

The Voice host's longtime partner Siri Pinter gave birth to daughter Etta, who weighed in at eight pounds, on Thursday afternoon.

The new arrival is a baby sister for the couple's three-year-old son Jackson.

In a post on his Facebook.com page, Daly writes, "Tonight at 5:15pm we welcomed the latest addition to our family. Etta Jones Daly weighs 8lbs and is beautiful! Mom was a rockstar, Jackson James is a proud big bro, and dad's drinking a cold one. Praise God."
