Supermodel and TV personality Heidi Klum and estranged husband Seal staged a summit meeting at the weekend after he accused her of sleeping "with the help" in an on-camera interview last month.
The remark made to paparazzi hounding the singer for a comment about the German's reported romance with longtime bodyguard Martin Kristen sparked a war of words between the former couple.
Seal also hinted that Klum may have been unfaithful during their marriage - a comment he later insisted had been misconstrued.
Klum's representative fired back at Seal, stating, "It is sad that Seal has to resort to this kind of behavior and spread these untruths about the mother of his children."
But it now appears the former couple is attempting to be friendly amid the drama - Klum has revealed she recently met up with Seal to talk.
In a pre-taped interview with newswoman Katie Couric, which will air in America on Wednesday, she says, "I just saw him on Sunday. We were talking and we're in an OK place."
But it seems they have some way to go to be friends.
The model adds, "I don't know if we're the greatest friends right now, especially because of the things that he said.
"It's a work in progress. You have to take it one day at a time. It's hard especially when you are in the public eye too."
