QMI fearless Emmy predictions
By Bill Harris, QMI Agency

'Modern Family' and 'Homeland' big winners at Emmys

The Emmy Awards give out more trophies on their televised night than any other major awards show. The producers always point that out, because they rightly don't want to be blamed when things start to drag with too many categories that the public doesn't care about.

Luckily, we easily can pare things down to the biggest comedy, drama, mini-series/movies, reality and variety races. You probably don't care about all of these, either, but a little self-editing is required here, we can't hold your hand all the way.

So here's a handy list with some predictions. Keep in mind that Emmy voters are a strange lot, so if all my picks turn out to be wrong, let's never speak of this again.
