Blake and Christina on 'The Voice.' (Handout) 'The Voice' gets two more seasons 'The Voice' recap: More blind auditions

With a few sacred spots left on each team, “The Voice” judges have to duke it out for the best singers as the blind auditions come to a close next week.

Adam has two spots left, Christina and CeeLo both have three spots, and Blake has four precious spots left to fill.

Sylvia Yacoub is first up on “The Voice” stage to pursue a dream that she shares with her mom. She quickly starts belting out “Only Girl In The World” and it’s probably the worst I’ve heard on the show so far. Christina mulls over pressing her button for a bit and when she does, Blake and CeeLo follow. I’m not quite sure I heard the same thing as the judges. Sylvia ends up choosing “her girl” Christina.

Farmer and country singer IJ Quinn, who says he’s 25 but looks much younger, says he sounds like a girl with his “really high” voice. He’s looking to escape the pig farm with the song “Virtual Insanity.” He does have a really high voice and it definitely teeters on the line of sounding like a girl. No one turns around.

Looking to get out from the hood of a car, Charlie Rey singing “Home,” wants to move on from his old life. He doesn’t look like a guy you’d peg as a singer as he definitely has a ‘bro’ look to him. Regardless, he’s attractive and has a great voice. Blake and Adam turn around and the girls in the crowd are going nuts. Blake wins Charlie over in the end.

Amanda Brown, who was a backup singer for Adele, realizes she’s ready to be in the spotlight. Singing ‘Valarie,’ she comes off strong right away with her red lipstick. In the end, only CeeLo turned around and snagged her.

Next up is 55-year-old Yolanda Barber singing ‘Get Here.’ She wants to prove to the judges that she’s just as good as any younger singer. Her experience shines through but the judges aren’t blown away. No one turns around.

Cassadee Pope, former front singer for Hey Monday (who toured with Fallout Boy), wants to breakout and take her own path. Singing ‘Torn,’ it doesn’t take long for Adam, Blake, and Christina to simultaneously hit their buttons. She sounds great with the perfect mix of pop/rock sound and style. CeeLo turns around midway and at the end, the judges all give her a standing ovation.

“She’s got legs,” CeeLo sings. Christina says she has a versatile voice that can sing almost any style. Adam says he’d be honored to have Cassadee on his team. Blake tells her he believes with all of his heart she’s a superstar.

In the end, Cassadee chooses to go with Blake, which is sort of an odd choice. I think Adam would have been the perfect for her. Either way, I think she’ll definitely go far in the show.
