The brother of British actress Gemma McCluskie has accepted he killed the star.
The 29-year-old, who had a role in hit U.K. soap opera EastEnders, went missing in February and her decapitated, limbless torso was discovered in London's Regent's Canal the following month.
Her sibling Tony McCluskie was charged with murder and admitted during a hearing at London's Old Bailey court on Friday that he killed her.
His barrister Jeremy Dein told the court, "The position is Mr. McCluskie does accept responsibility for the death of his sister. The defence will be one of loss of control."
McCluskie was remanded in custody and is due to stand trial for murder on 14 January.
