Cheers star Kirstie Alley and actor Gilles Marini were booted off Dancing With The Stars on Tuesday night in a surprise double elimination.

They have both been showing off their dancing skills for a second time as part of the all-star edition of the hit U.S. TV talent contest, but their stint on the series came to an end following the contestants’ Veteran’s Day tribute on Monday evening.

Alley, who has been placed in the bottom two several times during her time on the show, was the first to be given the boot, along with her professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

She told the judges, “The second time around was very special to me. I learned more about dancing, believe it or not.”

Marini and his partner Peta Murgatroyd were in the bottom three alongside skater Apolo Ohno, but it was the Sex and the City: The Movie hunk who was eliminated by the judges.
