The Argo filmmaker and the U.K. boyband feature on Walters' annual list of the top 10 most intriguing public figures of the year, alongside Family Guy creator and 2013 Oscars host Seth MacFarlane and E.L. James, the author of steamy hit novel Fifty Shades of Grey.
Also selected are American gymnast Gabby Douglas and former U.S. First Lady Hillary Clinton, while the number one person of note will be unveiled during the TV special Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 on 12 December.
Last year, Walters celebrated the likes of singer Katy Perry, real estate mogul Donald Trump, and Modern Family stars Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
