Actress Allison Janney has lost her Californian property to foreclosure after it was taken over by her mortgage lender in October.
The former West Wing star co-owned the five-bedroom Palm Springs house with longtime friend Gregg Rapp but it is now being marketed for $2.2 million (£1.4 million) by the bank that holds the mortgage.
Janney and Rapp bought the property at the height of the real estate market for $3.9 million in 2006 but then put it up for sale in March 2010 for $5.5 million. They dropped the price to $4.5 seven months later and by 2011, it was down to $3.9 million.
The house was previously owned by the late William Holden, who starred in blockbuster films such as Sunset Boulevard and The Towering Inferno, according to the Inquisitr.com.
