After The Playboy Club, Laura Benanti had to go right into therapy.
TV therapy, that is.
Benanti, who played a bunny in the short-lived series The Playboy Club last year, currently is starring as a group therapist dealing with Matthew Perry's character in the sitcom Go On, which airs Tuesdays on NBC and Wednesdays on Global.
"I was psyched that Lauren had her own issues," said Benanti, referring to her character in Go On. "I think it would be boring if she didn't have her own issues.
"Every therapist I know, including my dad and my sister, have their own issues. That empathy is what makes them good at their job.
