Best & worst holiday sitcoms

The holiday season is a perfect time for catching up with friends, family, and Ė letís face it - your favourite holiday TV shows.

While no one can argue with classics like "Miracle on 34th Street" and "Itís a Wonderful Life" Ė more guidance is needed before dedicating a half hour of your life to a Christmas-themed sitcom.

Simply put, some are funny, some are ridiculous and some are just plain awful, so choose carefully.

Here is a list of five best and worst festive sitcoms to help you prep you for that holiday TV marathon.

The Best:

Frasier. - High Holiday (2003)

One of the smartest sitcoms of the past 20 years added a little 4:20 to its Christmas show when Frasier Crane’s ex-cop dad (played by John Mahoney) accidentally eats a pot brownie and returns home stoned out of his mind and battling the munchies.

Seinfeld – The Strike (1997)
