Mueller to leave rehab this weekend

Charlie Sheen's embattled ex-wife Brooke Mueller is to be reunited with her sons when she checks out of rehab on Sunday.

The 35-year-old checked herself into a treatment facility on Monday night to deal with a prescription pill problem, and asked Sheen's ex-wife Denise Richards to care for Max and Bob, her three-year-old twins with the actor.

Early reports suggested she would spend Christmas away from her kids, but her assistant reveals Mueller will be back with her family this weekend when she leaves rehab.

Mallory Knighton tells EOnline.com, "She will be out of treatment on Sunday, and she is doing very well."

Knighton also explains that the twins briefly stayed with former Bond girl Richards because Mueller had fired her nanny
