Mariah shows off annoying side
By Bill Harris, QMI Agency

The American Idol judges were seated side by side. From left to right, Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj. Boy, girl, boy, girl.

Have to keep those feuding gals apart.

Okay, so the big question as the new judging panel for American Idol appeared at the Television Critics Association tour on Tuesday was, how would Carey and Minaj get along?

There have been lots of stories about them fighting. Carey said in an interview that she had asked for extra security because of threats made by Minaj. But you never know what to believe, because a little in-fighting can be good for a show like American Idol publicity-wise, with the 12th season kicking off Jan. 16 on Fox and CTV.

So here are my impressions after what I saw.

I totally can tell that Carey is the kind of person who would drive Minaj crazy.

Carey has verbal diarrhea. She tends to make everything about herself. She's mushy and emotional and soft.
